Finally. . . from Elsie Quilts

My hubby was thirteen days before he got the one little red line instead of two. He is still coughing a bit, but back to his normal self. We have been busy with catching up.

Christmas Geese Table Runner from From My Carolina Home

Today we get back to the last bit of the panel. I began this one by making flying geese in red and green, so I could alternate the colors. Using the no waste method made a bunch in a short time. I wanted the final geese to finish at 2×4 inches, so I cut my large squares 5-1/2-inches, and the white squares 3-1/8-inches. This will make them just a little bit bigger than needed.

Squaring them up to 2-1/2 x 4-1/2 will make the points come out well. See my post on No Waste Flying ...

More quilted gifts, an OMG and a Christmas runner from Quilting & Learning

I can't believe that I've got so many posts this month! I've been busy finishing up my two Christmas gifts. Actually there was supposed to be one, but a squirrel came for a visit!

My December One Monthly Goal (OMG) was another free motion quilted (FMQ) fabric basket. I used some incredibly lovely Japanese fabric for the FMQ.
